Anhet-f used world familial hypercholesterolemia day to bring its members together on 23 September 2017 in Paris.
On 23 September 2017, the Association Anhet-f used world familial hypercholesterolemia day to bring its members together, including patients and healthcare professionals, during an afternoon of exchanges.
Around 130 people were present, which was a huge success for the first edition of this event.
The half day was an opportunity to tell the audience about some of the actions undertaken by the association during 2017 as regards communications: a film presenting the rationale behind the association’s creation, using patient and founding members’ testimonials, Anhet-f’s official brochure and the specifics of familial hypercholesterolemia.
This meeting also allowed patients to attend various conferences on subjects that affect them more closely, such as controversies linked to statins, denial of the illness’ existence, or progress in research. All of these interventions were voluntarily carried out by specialist doctors in the treatment of this illness in France. They were able to answer the many questions raised during the assembly.
The audience present were then able to take tea together and socialise on the Kyriad hotel’s sunny terrace.
