GOVERNANCE

Coordination and governance

The CHOPIN project is COORDINATED by the CHU de Nantes through the DHU 2020’s “personalised medicine for chronic diseases” and its coordinator, Prof B. Cariou.

CHOPIN’s GOVERNANCE is made up of 3 bodies responsible for ensuring that objectives, timetables and the budget are adhered to in the interests of the consortium, but also guaranteeing the project’s scientific coherence in line with each partner.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY

This is made up of administrative and scientific representatives from each of Chopin’s institutional and industry partners.

Its mission is to ensure CHOPIN’s smooth operation by providing an opinion on its strategic orientations and exercising control over its management and budget.

SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE

This is made up of 14 scientific representatives, acting on behalf of each project partner, as well as the coordinator.

Its mission is to ensure the project’s scientific cohesion and to issue an opinion on CHOPIN’S major scientific orientations and on the annual action plan.

EXTERNAL SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE

The External scientific committee is made up of 5 external members, international leaders in the field of dyslipidemia. They have an advisory role and are in charge of assessing the project’s overall scientific relevance.
